Building Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an outstanding team where you will play an active role in the delivery of project and professional services to a wide range of public and private sector clients.

Our client is a well-established multi-disciplined Construction Consultancy providing consultancy services across both the public and private sectors and are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join the Building Surveying Team located in Sidcup.

Good working knowledge of scheduling, specification writing, preparation of tender documentation and contracts and ability to undertake the Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent duties for a variety of projects in different sectors.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in building condition surveys, measured surveys, defect analysis and preparation of formal reports; submission of building regulations and planning applications.

Experience of aids and adaptations, party wall matters, DDA audits, auto CAD proficient and CDM regulations would be an advantage.

 

Requirements:

  • The candidate will ideally be qualified to MRICS
  • They should have good communication, management and team working skills.
  • Capable of working on their own initiative
  • Full clean driving licence and use of their own, road legal, vehicle
